Ms Boninelli is responsible for group human resources, which entails attracting, retaining and developing a highly engaged, diverse and productive workforce. She has more than 30 years’ executive experience in the field of human resources both locally and internationally, having been the group executive for human resources at Gold Fields, Network Healthcare Holdings Ltd and the Retail Banking division of Standard Bank.

She is a director on the board of London-listed Polymetal International (FTSE 100 company) in the mining sector and has been on the advisory board of two universities. She continues to lecture and teach at business schools, and she is the author of numerous publications including three books on HR and leadership.  She is passionate in her support for women’s leadership development programs and is a Patron of WIMSA (Women in Mining in South Africa).
