The Executive leadership team shared personal stories of moments when they had re-modelled our values and times when they had been challenged by the values, demonstrating both a commitment and vulnerability to the organisation. This \u2028was an authentic and meaningful start to a dialogue approach to embedding the values. All Executive Leadership Team members, Senior Vice Presidents and each \u2028mine site General Manager have co-led value discussions with \u2028their teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each month, we spotlight one value globally and ensure that all team members have resources to effectively talk to the value, expected behaviours and how to live the values practically. The values are also being integrated into the organisation, through rituals such as values moments at the start of team meetings where team members can share lived experiences and recognition of others\u2019 behaviours that support the values. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In December 2023, we hosted an employee Values Check-in event where we heard first-hand from a diverse group of colleagues speaking about what a particular value meant to them and how they are living the values. This event provided an opportunity to pause, reflect on our journey so far, assess our actions and renew our collective dedication to further embed the values into how we show up every day at AngloGold Ashanti.
